While Matt was in Colorado the kids and I went to Dallas to see Tiffany, Seth and Reagan. Carson was especially excited because L. had been out of town for the entire month of June and she and L. finally got to see one another while L. was in Dallas too!
We all enjoyed some snow cones before heading off to see fireworks.
The kids both bought digital cameras with their own money before our trip...
My intention was that the kids would buy the same cameras and just buy them in different colors. Things can never be that easy! Carson and I researched cameras ahead of time and made some preliminary choices. But, once we were in the store the salesman suggested that we choose something different...something more "kid" appropriate (basically, cheaper and easier to use), so we began looking at those options. Christopher easily decided he'd go with the salesman's recommendation...it was cheaper! He quickly wanted to know if he could buy other things with the money that he wasn't going to spend?? :) Carson was not going to budge! She is not easily swayed...so, she now owns my "back-up" camera. :)
She spent the entire day reading the camera manual from cover to cover. Now, this is what I get to see ALL of the time!! How did she become like this??? ;)
