This trip to San Antonio came about because Carson really wanted to go to the Alamo--Thank you Texas 4th grade Social Studies Curriculum! :) Since we were seeing the Alamo we decided to squeeze in as many San Antonio "touristy" things to do as possible!
Remember the Alamo!
On the ground surrounding the Alamo a group of kids along with their military leader were practicing loading their muskets and firing! :) I'm pretty sure that this was a group of local kids attending a summer camp. Carson and Christopher were certainly entertained!
River Walk time!
We took a river boat ride and learned all kinds of things about San Antonio! It really was informative!
Snow cone time! It was a great little adventure. It was overcast and a little drizzly while we walked around, but it only rained really hard while we ate (perfect timing!)...all of this cooled things down and thinned out the crowds. :)
