The Discovery of a Doggone Good Time

The kids and I had a great time at Discovery Green today!  We started off by hanging out at a Dynamos booth where both Carson and Christopher kicked the soccer ball around.

And then we found what we were looking for...the dog jumping competition!  :)

There he goes!  The dogs run down a deck and jump into the water.

Would you believe that when I asked the kids to stand next to one another for a picture that this is as close as they would get to one another?  ;)

And here they are getting ready to kayak!

It was SUPER hot outside and even though they didn't have their swimsuits on, I told them that they could cool off a little bit...

We wrapped our time up at the park (and dried off) by playing on the playground.

The kids had lots of fun!  It was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon!
