Compliments Abound!

Carson had her 4th grade awards ceremony that they have at the end of every 9 weeks.

She received an award for being on the Honor Roll and getting all E's.
Christopher's class had a baby shower for his teacher who is about to have a baby boy. When I dropped in for the shower I chatted with his teacher. I think Christopher received one of the highest compliments that a teacher can give! Mrs. Dew told me that she hopes that her baby boy is just like Christopher! Wow!

The kids painted letters that spell out the baby's name for the nursery.

They also made a book of advice on how to take care of the baby. Christopher said that Mrs. Dew should sing to the baby.

Here is the beginning of his illustration of Mrs. Dew holding her baby. Most of the kids finished their pages rather quickly, had their snacks and sat down on the floor to watch Mrs. Dew open her gifts. Christopher sat at his seat the entire time adding details to his illustration and completing his page. He definitely is capable of focusing when he chooses to do so!!
