New Year's Eve

Tiffany, Seth and Reagan came into town for a late Christmas celebration, so we spent the early part of New Year's Eve eating and exchanging gifts.

Back at home snuggling Annie

Christopher spent the entire day outside gathering sticks and pine needles to make "torches" to start our fire.

This task seriously kept him busy ALL DAY...he carefully tied pine needles around the clumped up bunch of pine needles to secure them to the stick.

Matt and Christopher decided to light the fireplace in our bedroom for the first time.

Carson fell asleep by herself upstairs, but Christopher was thrilled to be our room watching a movie in our bed with the fireplace blazing. He snuggled up next to me and said, "This is the life!" :)
