I can't believe that Christopher is EIGHT years old! WOW! He's about to open up his gift from Carson...

A guitar!!

Christopher has been wanting a "real" guitar for quite a while! There was only one little (or not so little) thing that we didn't even think about...check out the pic below...see anything "wrong?"

Here is Matt showing Christopher how to hold the guitar, using his RIGHT hand.

Still not quite "right!" Christopher is left-handed, something that we totally did not think about when purchasing the guitar. We called the guitar store on our way to dinner to see if we could get a "left-handed" guitar. The guy told us that less than 2% of guitars made are left-handed...that Christopher should just learn to play with his right. That is easy for him to say! What if a right-handed person was told, "just play with your left hand"??? Needless to say, later in the evening there were some tears when Christopher tried to hold the guitar the right way. :( But, he was determined to do it!! Now he is playing the guitar ALL OF THE TIME!!! :)
