We went to the Tomball Fire Department Fall Festival on Friday night. Here are the kids posing before we left.

After our Main Street adventure we were driving home and happened upon an outdoor Battle of the Bands in the Chick-Fil-A parking lot. I don't have pictures of this, but picture in your mind lots of teenagers, loud heavy metal music (and by this I mean you could NOT understand ANY of the words and lots of head banging!), and our family (with Nicole) sitting outside listening. :) It was funny and fun all at the same time! Christopher was mesmerized by the drums and the guitars and guys with "cool, funky" hair. :) It was FREEZING outside but we stayed there until 11:30 and then headed home. The kids were still wide awake and expecting to roast marshmallows (because this is what our plans had been to do 2 hours earlier), so...
Hey, no one had to be up early in the morning, so why not?
