Saturday in Sealy!

Yesterday we had a FABULOUS day at a party in Sealy. The party was hosted by one of the family's on Christopher's t-ball team. Charlie's grandparents have 39 acres near Sealy. On the land is an old farm house and a train depot, both of which now function as weekend homes for their family. The place is absolutely incredible! The bluebonnets were gorgeous! The farm house and train depot sit next to a huge pond (2 1/2 acres of pond!) where the kids and Matt fished and paddle boated. The kids also loved sliding down the zip line and jumping in the jumpees that were there for the party. There were tractor rides, a large fort to climb in and on, a super-duper tire swing and a full baseball diamond, complete with bleachers behind the back stop. The kids didn't know what to do first! They were so excited and definitely didn't want to leave. I'm including A TON of pics of our day, so get ready!

Both of the kids REALLY loved the Zip Line!

Matt, Carson and Christopher enjoyed a paddle boat ride. Look who is doing all of the work! Carson was lying down most of the time! :)

Carson had a great time on the tire swing. It reminded her of the river.

And then there was fishing..

Christopher caught a fish! Check out his puckered face...he's trying to look like the fish!

Carson caught her fish while I was supervising the fishing (Matt was on the other side of the pond--see next post!) and she actually caught it while she was lying down, so she and her pole nearly went into the water! And if you notice in the picture, she wouldn't touch the fish! :)
