Party Time!

Today the kids and I went to Ommy and Poppy's Sunday School Party. This was no "ordinary" party. It was at the home of a local attorney who leads Ommy and Poppy's Sunday School class. This generous family invited everyone to have some family fun in their "backyard." :) The kids had lots of fun and I followed behind them snapping pics. :)

The kids are ready to ride the train that travels around the property.

Carson is checking out the pond. She walked into the water and watched other kids around her canoe, kayak and paddle boat...soon she and her brother stripped down to their bathing suits and were in the water! (I have no pics of this.) :(

But, you can tell what they did after their water play with A.! They were soaking wet and hopped on the train for a ride.

Look what they found! They dug for clams in the pond.

Unfortunately the train derailed. :( So, we didn't actually have a very long ride. This meant the kids walked back bare foot. They didn't seem to mind! A creek flows throughout the property and they found an alligator friend to hang out with.

The L. family even has animals on their property! Christopher is checking out the lemurs.

And a parrot.

They had good old farm animals too.

Is your mama a llama?

Is that a kangaroo?

Yes it is! (A mama kangaroo and her baby.)

This is a duck pond that also has chickens around it...the kids found an egg. Was it an egg from a chicken or a duck?

Next Christopher was off on some kind of yucky spinning ride! :) Can you tell I didn't ride it with him? Carson said she couldn't even watch the ride. :)

And around and around he goes!

It was time to get cooled off again.

You can't see CLC's head because he would bounce and then slide!
