Trip to the Children's Museum

We hadn't been to the Children's Museum in quite a while and we had been trying to plan a day with the D Fam all summer long. Sadly, Carson wasn't able to join us because she took an unexpected trip North, but because we were determined to hang out with the D's, Christopher and I forged ahead without her.
M and Christopher: future emergency personnel

M is making sure that Christopher's heart is still beating. :)

Enough of being behind the scenes, Christopher was ready to be in front of the camera! :) (Checkout the computer screen in the foreground)

M, M, and Christopher served us lunch.
FINALLY! Christopher had enough of "pretend" play...he was ready to REALLY play!

Telling secrets...

Christopher's and my favorite thing in the whole museum! Too bad we didn't make it here earlier in the day. :( This would have entertained CLC for hours! These were basically a real-size version of Lincoln Logs.

Ummm...POPPY! :) The perfect project for grandparents!
And, last but not least, face painting...just in time to be made up for our lunch outing!
