How does your garden grow?

A couple of weekends ago while Matt and the kids were on a bike ride they met a man in our neighborhood who has a HUGE garden. He was super nice to the kids. This past weekend Christopher and Matt saw the man again and he was nice enough to give them a huge radish and beet. :) Apparently the beet is supposed to be boiled for an hour...but, I'm not sure that anyone will really eat the beet.
